Fred Taylor Training Fields
It has been agreed with the Waitakere City Council that the training fields will remain under the management of the Club Executive. The Club Executive will be responsible for determining when the fields need to be closed due to weather and ground conditions.
As the weather will be very inclement over the coming months, the demands on the training fields increases and the wear and tear increases dramatically.
All teams that require the use of the training fields are requested to refer to the Training Fields Schedule as space is limited. All allocated training times on the training fields must be adhered too.
If you are unsure about the schedule, please contact Nicky Lainchbury 021-515102
Situations Vacant
As we look ahead to the 2008 winter season we are looking for assistance in a number of areas throughout the club.
If you can help with coaching or managing at any level, Senior, Youth, Junior or Midget Grades, please let us know.
If you are a qualified coach but can't commit to a team for a full season, we can still use you.
We are always looking for assistance with administering the club. If you can help our existing group of volunteers it lightens the load for everyone.
GOALS AT FRED TAYLOR PARK
The Waitakere City Council removed a number of goals from council fields due to the goals not being stored and locked correctly.
At the direction of the Parks Contracts Officer - Sports and Landscapes ; Parks and Open Spaces, some of our club's goals were removed from Fred Taylor Park. They have subsequently been returned.
ALL club members need to be aware that goals MUST ALWAYS be returned to the allocated goal storage areas and locked away after they have been used.
These are the Council's rules and we must abide by them. Please make sure that you and your team comply at all times.
